UFO

A quiet evening finds a friend and I having a drink in a local pub called the Shake and Shingle, near Ruskin Dam, BC. The sign out in front of the place reads "Offsales, Aliens Welcome". Our intent tonight is to learn what we can from the locals about the recent UFO sightings that had been reported from the area. The cool evening sky is overcast with clouds, creating a lingering threat of winter rain. Mist drifts around in ghostly pockets originating from deep within the bogs, and being fed by the damp cool air that gives them life. All the various cameras were loaded in an effort to be ready for any encounter.

Our researchers had reported that there seemed to be a specific pattern to the future sightings, an educated guess we were told was a fair to good chance some UFO activity would be seen from this location, at this time of night. A second crew had been sent to establish a second base camp approximately 20km along the same chosen flight path.

We were all ready.

The Journey Begins

The locals had a bit to say about the recent stories and some even elaborated with a new story of their own, many of the tall tales even sounded realistic. So we embark on our journey with the hopeful expectations of capturing a great sighting location for the archives, nothing much more than that had really crossed our minds.

We arrive at the top of the hill that overlooks a large open valley, the hydro dam just below us surrounded by a wire fence with barbed wire at the top. We take a few moments to get our bearings for the lay of the land, and allow ourselves to become accustomed to the night sounds all around us.

Crickets, dogs, distant traffic, and other noises were to be heard but nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Hanging Out

We wait for a few hours, just hanging out, talking about life when there was a tangible shift in the energy of the area we were in. The night grew darker, and the air took on an unatural stillness as it enveloped us entirely. The sounds of a quiet evening in the rain forest are suddenly replaced by a deafening silence, but the hilltop was very active and alive metaphysically.

Moments later a deep rumble can be energetically felt vibrating through the air all around us. These energetic vibrations could be felt as waves of buzzing energy on any exposed skin, and the ears translated this energy into an inner ear sound very much like a large tympani drum in a full roar. My friend was on alert, but later confessed that he hadn't experienced the strong sensory input that I had been subjected to.

The clouds above our heads parted from the center to allow us a clear view of the star filled sky beyond the heavy cloudcover. The clouds parting in such an unnatural manner that made us very suspiscious, and the sudden tangible shift of energy in the area about us had us both a little concerned.We keep our eyes and camera glued to the opening in the clouds, and moments later a very large triangle shape silently and effortlessly discends toward us.

It stopped it's descent about 1200 meters from the top of the dam and continued to hover there for almost an hour.

It was approximately 500 ft across the outside edges of the dark symetrical triangle. There appeared to be an eye distortion that enabled the craft to remain difficult to stare at for any lengthy period of time without loosing your focus. It was much easier to look at the stars behind the craft and watch for where they were being obscured. It bobbed and moved about like a boat on water as it was moved around by all the higher elevation air currents and winds.

I curiously attempted to make a psychic or energetic connection with any potential inhabitants of the strange craft, using my personal crystal and the chain link fence that surrounds the entire dam complex as an amplifier.
